5GW Theory Timeline

In his third blog post in a series exploring different archetypes or styles of 5GW operations, PurpleSlog gives a lengthy list of characteristics of The Strategic Citizen 5GW Style.

In general, The Strategic Citizen style of 5GW will resemble “open-source conspiracies”:  individuals will form a loose network on the basis of shared goals and operate individually or in many small groups to achieve those shared goals. Thus, The Strategic Citizen might be better thought of as an emergent network of like-minded individuals all operating together to accomplish a common goal but not necessarily coordinating their efforts.  Indeed, although some members of the loose network might have more influence than others, no centralized planning committee or hierarchical structure will form to direct the efforts of the whole operation.
